Hi mpc5634m Community!

I just stumbled into your forum and was happy to see, that other people also use this controller.
:D

During the development i got into a little problem.
Sometimes the controller resets, and I nailed it down to a problem of the interaction between the ADC and the DMA controller.

Did anyone of you have problems with these?
Does anyone have experience with the automatic transferring of the ADC data to RAM via DMA?

It's unlikely that any of the former dev's who might have encountered that or a similar problem are now regularly monitoring this forum. Unless Mark ("mk e") knows the answer, you'd be more likely to find help on the Freescale Community Forum.

What kind of dev setup are you using?

I don't have much experience with the chip, but in other experiences I've seen issues where DMA transfers are started while the value being transferred is modified.

You might need some sort of lock on the variable so the ADC doesn't change it, i.e. set a lock / flag when the value starts DMA transfer then have the DMA function reset the lock / flag when done.
